Andy Howells
Andy Howells is a full time designer of several local newspapers in West Wales, and as well as been a Feature Writer for Suite 101 has also contributed articles and reviews to several publications including:
- Permission To Speak Sir! (The Dad's Army Appreciation Society newsletter)
- South Wales Argus
- The Tivy-Side Advertiser
- The Barry and District News
- The Penarth Times
His line of expertise is a knowledge of classic television comedy and popular music from the 1960s and as a result has contributed to several TV and DVD extra documentaries on Dad's Army over the years and a 2010 radio documentary on Tom Jones.
Andy has continued to develop as a writer since joining Suite101 in 2010, and has won Editors Choice awards for the following articles:

He is married with three Children and currently lives in South Wales. He particularly enjoys writing about music old and new, theatre, television and reviewing audiobooks for Suite101.
Andy also writes two regular blogs Retrospace and The Online Scribblings of Andy Howells where he also shares examples of his artwork and photography. He has also been the webmaster for a website tribute to classic TV series Dad's Army since 1996.
