One of Miami¹s Premier music DJ’s, Damaged Goods will shortly be making a visit to the United Kingdom to front three special events allowing party-goers to sample a unique taste of Miami nightlife.
Three UK towns will be able to experience a series of unforgettable evenings entitled The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange. The unique event has been created from nightlife elements as voted for by the US public.
How Zane Lowe Brought The Smirnoff Miami Nightlife Exchange Together
In November 2010, these ideas were exchanged for the very best of Britain’s home-grown nightlife, as voted for by the public and curator, DJ Zane Lowe.
Over 6,520 Facebook users suggested what best characterised Great Britain nightlife from fashion trends via musical styles to locally inspired cocktails. Once all of the suggestions were submitted, Zane Lowe selected the ones that he felt best represented the nation’s vibrant and varied nightlife.
These ingredients led to an exchange of ideas for Miami to sample British Nightlife as London’s Troxy Club sampled Miami nightlife on November 27th 2010. This event involved DJ’s Zane Lowe, Example and Jaguar Skills taking to the Miami Live stage for the evening and enabling visitors to experience the party atmosphere of Miami nightlife with a fusion of excellent music experienced by more than 2,000 party goers.
Taking The Smirnoff Miami Nightlife Exchange Across The UK
Due to the very success of that evening, the vodka brand, the Smirnoff Co has decided to take the experience on tour across the UK. The tour will go to Edinburgh and Hatfield in March 2011.
There is also to be an additional venue to take place in May. For this venue, the Smirnoff Co is allowing the public to vote for their local towns on the social media network Facebook.
Fans are been asked to rally their local friends and vote for the event to come to their town via the Smirnoff GB Facebook Page. Visitors to the page will be able to vote for their local venue but also remove votes from rival venues, taking rival votes away at the click of a button.
DJ Damaged Goods To Front The Three UK Events
Visitors to the three events will be treat to a live performance on the Miami live stage from Damaged Goods, one of the hottest DJ¹s of the Miami scene.
A pioneer of the dance music scene, Damaged Goods has gained a reputation as one of Miami¹s premier DJ¹s; as well as regularly playing the Miami Winter Music Conference he is also regularly in residency at the infamous Miami nightclub Mansion. Producing a mash up of Electro, House, Hip-Hop, Dub Step and Trance Damaged Goods will undoubtedly create a night to remember for club fans.
